Persona 3 Reload director discusses the “graphics quality” of the Switch 2 version
Persona 3 Reload is coming to Switch 2 on Oct. 23rd, 2025 and there’s a demo available right now. Plenty of people have downloaded that demo and they’ve unfortunately felt that the experience on Switch 2 could do with some sprucing up. Whether that actually happens before the game releases remains to be seen.
Wondering how the team behind Persona 3 Reload feels about the Switch 2 version of the game? In a chat with Ungeek, Persona 3 Reload Director Yoshihiro Komori has talked about the path to bringing the title to Switch 2, which sounds like it was a bit of a winding road. In the end though, the team is happy with what they’ve achieved.
“For the Nintendo Switch 2 hardware, we started development before the hardware was actually released, and we didn’t have a great idea about third-party software [as well]. After the release of the Switch 2 came a lot of new titles, so that was sort of unexpected, but it also works in our favor. But after it has been released, we are sure that our graphics quality has definitely matched the standards.”
